The first revelation from the piece is that the year-old comedian initially rejected Evans' advances because she didn't think he was really attracted to her. Evans could handle it. He's Captain America after all! To be alone. When Slate and Evans started dating, the comedian had only recently separated from her husband of three years. Whoever it is, though, will have both figuratively and literally big shoes to fill.
